Contact Information

The best way to reach us to discuss custom orders is via email.

If you do call to discuss details regarding a custom order, we will ALSO need an email from you with the same information to add to your file so that we may refer back to it during the patterning and construction process.

To improve our efficiency, please have your questions about our in-stock and custom ordered items ready when you phone, as well as your general sizing and deadline information.  We are happy to answer your questions about the items we create and sell.

The cost of telephone consultation lasting longer than 15 minutes will be added to your order.
(We have found that we are usually able to answer all questions within five to ten minutes.)

About our design staff:

Andrea Wakely

As the costume designer of Twin Roses Designs, Andrea Wakely is involved in every aspect of the costume design and production process.  Andrea worked in the costume shop at UVA for two years and helped out with various productions as dresser, master painter/dyer, assistant costume designer, pattern drafter, stitcher, etc.  Andrea Wakely has degrees in Theater (costume design), Biology, and a Minor in Studio Art from the University of Virginia in 1993.  Founded in 2000, Twin Roses Designs has since grown into the thriving business you see today.  Andrea's goals for the future are to continue to design and create costumes for film and tv productions and professional performing arts groups and to keep providing high quality clothing for individuals and small groups.

Garry Wakely

Garry is our technical guru.  He specializes in digital translation of artwork into stitches for the embroidery machine, as well as being the in-house Dye Master.  He updates the website and assists with customer correspondance, shipping and garment creation.  Another scientist/artist blend, Garry received his BSc from the University of British Columbia in Occupational Therapy and was a vital force in the UBC pottery studio in charge of creating glazes.
